Offshore Award success for Royal London 360°

Royal London 360° has collected another ‘Offshore Award’.

The Isle of Man based offshore life company has been named ‘Highly Commended’ in the ‘Best International Life Group’ category of the 2012 International Fund and Product Awards, also known as the ‘Offshore Awards’.

The prestigious awards, which are designed to reward achievements within the offshore financial services sector and are now in their 13th year, examine criteria including:

  • Commitment to target market
  • Appropriateness and breadth of product range
  • Use of technology to improve service
  • Levels of training and service support
  • Recent initiatives to improve products and services

They are judged by an independent panel of life industry practitioners.

Deborah Benn, chair of the 2011 judging panel, commented: “Considerable investment in a new administration system was a clear sign of Royal London 360°’s commitment to the sector. In particular, judges felt the company’s InvestPro* project is an exciting development and we look forward to seeing the full impact over the next 12 months.

“Further enhancements, such as the removal of credit card fees, was applauded by judges as well as the way Royal London 360° has kept IFAs informed on a regular basis of product changes in the light of the global economic situation.

“There is little doubt that the past 12 months has possibly been the toughest year yet for the offshore industry. Not only has the ongoing backdrop of difficult economic conditions taken its toll, but higher than normal regulatory pressures have been evident this year. Yet despite this, entries have displayed a refreshing determination to keep up high standards of services which has impressed the judges. In particular, this year’s winners and highly commended entries have really shone.”

Natalie Hall, Director of Marketing at Royal London 360°, commented: “Collecting yet another ‘Highly Commended’ Offshore Award highlights that our investment in our back office infrastructure, particularly over the last 12 to 18 months, is really beginning to pay off and be recognised in the offshore life industry. Royal London 360° strives to do the very best it can for its customers and this recognition should reassure them of that.”
