Twitter sense check needed now

Last week we referred to the FSA’s “Final Guidance” document on the RDR chestnut of definitions for Independent and Restricted advice.

This is a relatively short 16-page tome but is sadly not written in Plain English.

Given the capacity for our IFA community to cut through to the devil in the detail, we thought that given the social media age we live in, we would throw out a challenge and offer a £100 prize for the best translation from FSA speak to Twitter speak.

Each section of the document from the introduction at section 1.1 to the end of the document at 6.9 should be reduced to content of no more that 140 characters shedding light where there is dark

The winning version will be sent to the FSA as an example of less is more when it comes to regulatory communication.

Get tweeting and send you entries to james@panaceaadviser.com marked Twitter competition.
