Rayner Spencer Mills: New guide to sustainable & responsible investing (SRI)

Rayner Spencer Mills has partnered with sriServices to launch a new Guide looking at Sustainable and Responsible Investing (SRI).

The Guide introduces the seven ‘SRI Styles’  developed by sriServices and provides a structured advice process plus a list of SRI funds that have met our usual methodology, including full supporting fund factsheets.

Bringing together important information on the SRI market, an independent analysis of available SRI funds and guidance on integrating SRI into the advice process, this Guide provides an independent point of reference for advisers to use when making recommendations for their clients.

The SRI landscape has seen much change recently as both small and large fund managers redefine their propositions in ways that play to their core strengths. It is in times like these that advisers need to have access to practical tools that help them to offer appropriate advice on this dynamic market to the growing number of interested investors.

This Guide not only explains the different styles of SRI which have evolved to suit the increasingly diverse needs of investors, but also suggests a range of funds, which cover a wide range of social, ethical and environmental issues. It will also help those advisers who are working towards achieving the Advisers ISO (ISO22222) which includes a requirement to discuss SRI with clients.

SRI is increasingly viewed not only as something which brings business benefits, but also as an indicator of best practice. The Guide is a roadmap which will assist advisers in delivering informed and comprehensive advice to their clients, allowing them to make a difference without sacrificing their financial performance.

The Guide and fund factsheets are available to download on our website at www.raynerspencermills.co.uk
