Close Asset Management Limited discretionary funds available on HSBC's Select platform

Advisers using the HSBC Onshore Investment Bond are now able to access Close Asset Management's popular new range of discretionary funds. The funds are available across the Ascentric, Select and Flexible versions of the Bond, and they will also be available via the newly launched HSBC Maximum Investment Plan (MIP).

The Close Discretionary Funds are a range of five multi-asset class funds tailored to meet specific investor risk requirements. Launched in September 2010, they have already exceeded £900 million in assets under management. They are managed as Bond Income, Conservative, Balanced, Growth and Dynamic investment portfolios, and are designed to provide "fit for future" investment solutions for investors of all sizes providing access to Close's investment capabilities in a portfolio matched to the individual client's risk profile.

David Muncaster, Close Asset Management said: "We are delighted to be making our service available through HSBC's products. We feel the arrangement brings benefit to both parties and will enable Close to offer these newly developed products to the advisers using the HSBC bond and MIP."

Antony Champion, HSBC, commented: "We are very pleased to be able to include Close Asset Management within our products and I am sure advisers will wish to explore the opportunities this launch will provide for their clients' investment options."
