This week, rates are continuing to rise and lenders are beginning to respond to the latest Bank of England Base Rate increase announced on 4th August. Coventry have closed their new business range, Precise have temporarily withdrawn second charge products & Saffron have withdrawn all products except from their Self-Build range. The Bank of England cut the Base Rate by 0.25% at the start of this month, the next meeting of the commission is on the 20th March.
Saffron Building Society have withdrawn their 2 and 5 year fixed 80% LTV Residential product. Aldermore have changed their Residential products criteria, InterBay have launched a new cash back Semi-Commercial product and more.
