LV= Pension Reforms - can you afford not to act?

The radical reforms announced in the Budget have grabbed the headlines and boosted interest in pensions. They have also set the scene for some exciting opportunities for you and your business.

The potential market opportunity is huge . . .

• The FCA estimate there are 30 million pension policies in closed funds worth an estimated £150bn, many with excessive charges and limited investment choice.  
• HMT estimate that around 18 million people will potentially be able to make use of the new flexible options - this now includes Defined Benefit schemes.

Pension Consolidation

Of course, to benefit from the pension freedoms they need to be with a provider who can offer access to the new options. This will inevitably see a massive need and demand to review and consolidate existing pension arrangements.
